How information submitted through this website is handled.
This notice explains how information submitted through the Leviathan Security website may be collected, used and handled.
Information we collect
When you contact Leviathan Security through this website, we may collect information you provide such as your name, company, email address, phone number, selected enquiry type and the contents of your enquiry. To protect the website and our business communications from spam, fraud and abusive submissions, the enquiry form also records technical information associated with the submission, including the server-observed IP address, date and time, browser/user-agent information, language settings, referring page and other basic request information. Where our hosting environment supplies it, we may also receive an approximate country or region indication associated with the network connection. If the hosting environment does not supply that information, the website may use a third-party IP geolocation service to obtain an approximate city, region, country, network provider and related network-location information from the submitted IP address.
How we use information
We use information submitted through the website to respond to enquiries, prepare or discuss service proposals, manage employment enquiries and maintain relevant business communications. Technical submission information may also be used to identify repeated abuse, investigate suspicious enquiries, apply rate limits and protect the website and email system from spam or misuse.
Website and email systems
Information submitted through the contact form, including the anti-abuse metadata described above, is sent to our business email system and may also be retained in a restricted administrative area of the website for enquiry management, abuse investigation and audit logging. Our website hosting provider may process standard technical information necessary to operate and secure the website, such as server logs and IP addresses. Where the location fallback is used, the submitted IP address is sent to the IP geolocation service for the purpose of returning approximate network-location information. Technical information such as IP-based location is approximate and may be affected by mobile networks, corporate networks, proxies or VPN services.
Disclosure
We do not use the contact form to sell personal information. Information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to operate our business, comply with legal obligations or work with service providers supporting our website, communications or business systems.
Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect information held by us. Information may be retained for as long as reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected, business administration, legal requirements or legitimate record keeping.
Access, correction and contact
For privacy questions, or to request access to or correction of information you have provided, contact admin@leviathangroup.com.au.
